Sliding & pocket doors that run on concealed tracks

Where a swing arc would waste floor, the door runs sideways — silently.
Overview

A sliding doorset gives full passage without the swing — useful where every square metre counts.

Systems are top-hung on a concealed track — either surface-sliding along the wall or a pocket that disappears into a cavity — with soft-close at both ends and flush or framed leaves in solid timber or large glazed panels. Multi-leaf runs can be synchronized so one pull moves the set. The track, leaf weight and cavity are engineered together for silent, durable travel.

Pocket or surface — choosing the run

A pocket door hides the leaf completely inside the wall; a surface-sliding door shows the leaf as a feature moving across the wall. The choice is set by wall cavity depth and the look you want.

The hardware decides the feel

Travel quality is in the track. KENT specifies top-hung carriers sized to the leaf, soft-close at both ends, and a clear floor with no bottom rail to trip on.

Questions specifiers ask

Pocket or surface sliding?+
Pocket hides the leaf completely but needs wall cavity depth; surface sliding shows the leaf as a feature and needs clear wall beside the opening.
Can a sliding door be acoustic?+
Sliding leaves seal less completely than a swing doorset; where high Rw is required we advise an acoustic swing door or a specially sealed system.
What leaf sizes are possible?+
Large solid and glazed leaves are routine; weight sets the track and hardware specification.
Cavity depth, structural support above the opening and leaf weight are confirmed per project before fabrication. Images are indicative until project photography is supplied.
