KENT cuts and lays marquetry and inlay by hand: veneers, brass and bronze, stone and marble, and mother-of-pearl are shaped to a drawing and set flush into doors, wall panels and casework. Fields range from quiet book-matched and sunburst veneer to figurative parquetry and metal-and-shell motifs. The pieces are levelled and finished as one surface, so the pattern reads as part of the material rather than something applied on top.
Veneer, metal, stone and shell are inlaid into the same surface and levelled flush, so a finger crossing the pattern feels one continuous plane.
