Cast Aluminium Doors

When the entrance must be both a statement and a stronghold — and survive salt air, humidity and heat — cast aluminium is the first choice.

Why specifiers choose it
Four reasons it wins the threshold.

It never rusts

Aluminium alloy is immune to the rust that destroys steel doors in salt-laden coastal air.

Hard to force

A dense one-piece body and multi-point anti-pry locking resist impact and break-in attempts.

Cast to any design

Casting captures fine 3D relief and detail — from classical to minimalist — that pressed steel cannot.

A finish that lasts

High-temperature polyester powder coat holds colour and gloss through years of sun, heat and humidity.

How it is built
The engineering behind the confidence.
01 — One piece

Cast solid, not folded

The leaf is cast from aluminium alloy as a dense, single body — not thin sheet folded around a hollow. That mass is what gives a cast door its reassuring weight, its silence on closing, and its resistance to impact and prying.

CAST ALUMINIUM ORDINARY STEEL solid, dense — one piece thin folded skin · hollow
02 — The finish

Sealed against the sea

After casting, the surface is shot-blasted for grip, conversion-coated, then electrostatically coated with polyester powder and cured at around 200°C. The result is a hard, sealed skin that does not rust and holds its colour through sun, salt and 70%+ coastal humidity.

03 — Security

Locked on every side

A multi-point lockset throws bolts at the top, centre and bottom into a reinforced frame, while concealed reinforced hinges resist lifting and prying. The entrance is held along its whole height, not at a single latch.

REINFORCED HINGES Top boltMain deadboltBottom bolt
04 — Comfort

Warm outside, calm inside

An optional thermal-break profile and insulated core interrupt the heat path, so a 50°C exterior does not radiate into a cooled lobby — and the same mass that stops heat also dampens street noise.

outer insulated core inner break break Outside 50°CInside, cooled THERMAL BREAK INTERRUPTS THE HEAT PATH
05 — Finishes

Sculpted, then coloured to match

Casting allows carved panels and 3D relief; powder coat then delivers wood-grain, patinated bronze, deep matte or stone tones — so a secure metal door reads as a designed entrance, not a security product.

Why specify KENT
One atelier for the whole entrance.

Made to order, at project scale

Every door is cast and finished to your drawings — patterns, sizes and finishes matched consistently across an entire development. [ add capacity: __ doors/mo ]

One supplier, the whole envelope

Entrance doors, architectural joinery, cabinetry and wall finishes from a single workshop — one point of accountability and one consistent hand across the project.

Lower cost over the life

Cast aluminium does not rust or need repainting; over a building’s 20-year life it avoids the upkeep and replacement that steel and timber entrances demand in coastal air.

Other door platforms
A different opening may call for a different door.

Cast aluminium is the entrance and coastal platform. For interior, wet-area, high-traffic or pure-security openings, KENT builds on four other platforms — each engineered for its job.

Compare all five platforms on the doors overview, or see how fire ratings work across them in the fire-rated guide.
Questions specifiers ask
Cast aluminium, answered.

Why cast aluminium for Gulf coastal projects?

Cast aluminium does not rust and resists salt-laden coastal air, high humidity and heat, so entrance doors keep their finish and operation in conditions that corrode ordinary steel.

How are cast aluminium doors finished?

The cast body is shot-blasted, then electrostatically powder-coated with polyester and cured at high temperature, giving a hard, weather- and impact-resistant surface in wood-grain or solid colours.

Are they secure?

Yes. The thick, dense one-piece alloy body resists impact and pry attempts and is fitted with multi-point security locksets.

Can the design be customised?

Yes — cast aluminium allows fine carving and 3D relief as well as paneled or minimalist faces, from classic to contemporary.
