Why my garage door open and close by itself?

My garage door is opening and closing by itself, as if someone else has the same frequency.?

My garage brand name is “Genie Excellerator” and I often find the garage door is up upon returning home,as if someone else had opened my door, even though I know I closed the door when I left the house.

To address your question: We had the same problem for quite some time. We pushed the button and thought the garage door had gone down as we drove off. But it had not. The device that fits over head in the garage was not working properly and sometimes it closed, sometimes it didn’t and sometimes he came down halfway and stopped. Had to replace the whole unit.
