How to be a good steel door includind sidelight?

Now I have to replace all part of my exterior door, any part of it. the sidelight, door, casings, threshold, etc.

There will be sidelights. unfortunately, I can’t get the in fiberglass w/ 10 in sidelights. I can, but I do not have $3000 to spend. The door will have a 3/4 oval glass.

I will be putting up a white unit with a black storm door (to compliment black shutters) w/ plain glass.. I’m ordering it from Lowe’s or home Depot.

Here I am confusing about wether a steel door will warp?Can it get dented easier? That`s the question I am worry about.

I am not replacing my steel door and the sidelight are wood- the wood has rotted on a 5yr old house. This is why i’ve got to replace the door. Wood is not an option.

So please give me some idea, I now  know fiberglass is better. Any suggestion?

The good steel door is pretty sturdy, they wont wrap. They can even dents it if someone kicks them, or they get banged on with any objects.

What caused the wood side lights to rot? If they were properly installed, primed and painted they should easily last 10 to 20 years.

I have a 18 years old steel door, it works for so many years, and the wood door wont do it possible.
